Our Story

In the 1790s a tract of land on the west shore of Skaneateles Lake was given as bounty to a soldier of the Revolutionary War. In 1835 Alexander Hamilton Allen kept a tavern at this site and the building has been a tavern since after the Civil War ended in 1865. The Kozlol family purchased the inn in 1955 and established the traditions that make the Mandana Inn the destination restaurant of choice in Central New York.
